PRODUCTION of the French SITA refuse body will begin at Derby Commercials Ltd, Derby Road, Clay Cross, Derbyshire, within about three months. The discharge controls are mounted on the bodyside and the tailgate is automatically lifted from and returned to its locked position during the discharge process. Ejection time is 20 sec.
Ejector plate valve gear is reached via an opening in the body floor, and the hydraulics for the compactor paddle from a flap above the loading hopper.
