IN Commercial Motor for April 5 1974, due to a misunderstanding in preparing a report of licensing proceedings in Glasgow for publication, reference was made to an arrangement between a furniture removal firm and a local garage, A. Harris of Helensburgh, to maintain a vehicle which was stispended by the Licensing Authority for two weeks.

We wish to make clear that the arrangement made with the garage proprietor was made after the vehicle in qu'estion became the subject of complaint and that the garage referred to was in no way responsible for the condition of the vehicle at the time.

We regret the error and apologise for any embarrassment or inconvenience -inch it may have caused.
