• Crosville announces that this summer the Monday to Friday journeys on its Caernarvon-Aberystwyth Express Service will be diverted to serve Harlech and Barmouth, providing a direct facility from Caernarvon and from the Aberystwyth areas to the coastal resorts hitherto only accessible by connecting at Maentwrog or Dolgellau.
The company has also made some beneficial changes in its Chester and Ellesmere Port to Blackpool services for this summer.
At Chester there are connections to and from the North Wales Coast using the Li Coastliner Service, and at Preston passengers can change conveniently for Morecambe, Kendal, Penrith, Carlisle, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
