• This year, Vauxhall Motors in conjunction with local dealers and bodybuilders has arranged three "Cavalcades". The first was held in Buxton this week when transport operators in Derbyshire and surrounding counties could inspect one of the largest assemblies of Bedford commercial vehicles ever collected together. The next one is at Luton from June 25 to July 3 and the last at Droitwich from July 9 to 12.
Fifty Bedfords ranging from the HA 6cwt van to KM 24-ton artics were in the Buxton Cavalcade. Included were different types and sizes of tipper, rigids, artics and small and large capacity vans; Vauxhall, supported by its dealers, also provided specialists to deal with inquiries on the Transport Bill,
