ASPECIAL sub-committee has been set up by Saddleworth Urban District Council, near Huddersfield, to investigate the possibilities of running its own bus service for areas "not now served, or very badly served by existing routes."
The committee's appointment follows a suggestion by a councillor that the council should buy 12-seat vehicles and apply to the Traffic Commissioners for permission to run an inter-district service.
