Bolton Corporation has decided to purchase a new Fordsoa tractor for use at Rhodes Farm.
The tramways committee of the Rotherham Corporation has decided to purchase three low-loading 22-seater motorbuses.
Finchley U.D.C. Parks Committee recommends the acceptance of the £129 4s. tender of Messrs. Shanks for a motor mower and trailer.

Oldham Watch Committee has adjourned for consideration at its next

Oldham Corporation for the running of double-deck buses to Woodhouses and on the Crime Lake route, provided pneumatic tyres are used on all the vehicles.

The Wirral Rural District Council has agreed to accept the payment of a sum of £600 in satisfaction of all claims for road adaptation as a condition of the Birkenhead Corporation running motor omnibuses along Pasture Road to the Meals Ccmmon.
At a meeting of the tramways committee of the Oldham Corporation the general manager presented a statement of the working of the tramways undertaking (including the bus services) for the year ended March 25th, which showed a net profit of £2,296.
The tramways committee of Birmingham is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of 30 double-deck topcovered motor-omnibus bodies. Form of tender with instructions, conditions and specifications can be obtained on application to the general manager. Tenders must be delivered not later than midday on June 18th.
At a meeting of the tramways committee of the Rotherham Corporation the borough engineer submitted detailed plans showing the proposals for the erection of a new bus garage on land adjoining the tramways depot, the estimated cost being £9,950, made up as follows :—New building, £7,950; erection of new bridge, £750; repairing of existing yard, £1,250. The plans were approved and the borough engineer authorized to invite tenders for the work.

Chesterfield Corporation has accepted the tender of the Wayne Tank and Pump Co. for the supply of three 3,000gallon tanks and for two pumps at £280, and for the supply of three 500gallon tank and three pumps at 1193 10s.
Cheltenham Corporation has decided that seven trailers made by the Eagle Engineering Co., Ltd., of Warwick, be purchased from the Victory Motor Co., Ltd., at the price of £160 each, and three Vorcison tractors, equipped with cabs, lamps, etc., complete, for £265 each,
At a meeting of the Cheltenham Watch Committee, Councillor Dicks suggested that the local bus companies should be approached with a view to running, at id. fares, a bus service to and from Pittville Gardens on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. The town clerk was instructed to ask the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., if it would provide such a service.
Cheltenham Watch Committee has further considered the application from the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., for licences for a service to Evesham. The motor hackney-carriage inspector reported that he had examined Mr. Martin's buses and found them to be satisfactory, and that he was now running a good service to Evesham. The application for the Bristol company was not granted, as the committee considers that the present service is sufficient for the needs of traffic.
