We note with deep interest the very long letter of Jackson Moore (CM June 30).
Perhaps you could refresh the reader's short memories by asking: 1. Which union leader went to Germany 10 years ago as a guest of Lucas Kienzle and was then largely instrumental in bringing the tachograph to the UK?
2. Whatever happened to Gordon Plants and which union objected to the owner drivers who set up on their own from that company?
Recruiting the "lads on the road" is my aim also, Jack, but let's be consistent; this industry has been victim to cheap opportunism for too long.
