COACH operators have been asked by the Action on Smoki and Health (ASH) organisation to make some provision non-smokers on their vehicles.
ASH claims that less than half the adult population of the 1 smokes and would like to see more coach operators plaa restrictions on smoking in their vehicles.
Some coach operators now ask passengers to smoke as lii as possible and some operate a voluntary ban on smoking at I front of the coaches.
Many passengers may well be dissuaded from travelling coach by the thought of being "trapped" next to a heavy smoli so some form of control must make coach travel more generz attractive.
