COMPANIES which offer employees season tickets for travel to and from work will not burden the employee with additional tax liabilities, provided that the total salary and benefit do not exceed £7,500, Treasury Minister Robert Sheldon said in reply to a question in the Commons.
The arrangements apply not only to travel by British Rail but also to all services of London Transport, but do not apply for reimbursement of individual travelling expenses.
