• Depressed trading conditions were the main reason for a fall in the annual profits of Fodens Ltd last year. Profit before tax was down from £1.3m to £752,243 in 1971-2, and turnover was reduced from £14.5m to £12.9m.
Considerably improved business is reported for the new financial year, since the end of March.
