ALARGE number of tipping-vehicle chassis and bodies is required by the Natal provincial road engineer's department. British makers are asked to tender to the Chairman, Tender Board, P.O. Box 258, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, by July 26. A 50-seater school bin is also required.
Up to 34 chassis and bodies tif 6 cubic yds. capacity are wanted. Tenders are invited for up to 140 chassis for 4-cubie-yd. bodies, hut only 80 may be required. Ten chassis and bodies of 21-cubic-yd. capacity are also needed. Full details of the specifications are held at the Commercial Relations and Exports Department, Board of Trade, Ivlillbank, London, British manufacturers who submit tenders are asked to keep the U.K. Trade Commissioner in Durban informed.
