SEVERAL COMPANIES, acting as distributors for equipment manufacturers, will provide installation and transmitting facilities to transport companies requiring mobile communications. One such company is Sinclair Communications Ltd, GECAEI-Marconi 'distributor for the London area, which provides communications services throughout the country. The company will sell or lease complete radio-telephone systems designed by its own engineers for the specific requirements of the customer.
The customer's base equipment will be linked to one of several transmitting sites owned by Sinclair so that optimum performance is obtained in the specified area.
