• All vans sold by Vauxhall dealers under the quality tested scheme are now covered by an undertaking to repair or replace defective parts, free of any charge, within 4000 miles or four months of the date of sale. This used vehicle undertaking, introduced on January I, supplements the customer's normal legal rights in the transaction.
Previously, the scheme (which is sponsored by Vauxhall Motors and applies to all makes of vans) covered vehicles for 3000 miles or three months. It was restricted to free repair or replacement of parts, labour charges being the responsibility of the customer.
