• Tipping gears which in twin front-end form have a lifting capacity of 46 tons are included in a new range of single and twin gears introduced by Telehoist Ltd, of Cheltenham. They are designed for long-wheelbase rigid chassis and semitrailers and will give angles of tip up to 50deg.
Intended for bodies from 16ft to 30ft long, they are four-stage FR64 gears with a single-ram capacity of 23 tons.
