1-1-1E ADMINISTRATOR for Ray Smith Group, which ceased trading before Christmas, remains confident that buyers will be found for the remaining parts of the business.
Lawrence David bought the RSG One-Call aftersaies support operation at the start Of the year (CM 10 January) and Graham Bush by, administrator at Baker Tilly, says there has been considerable interest in the rest of the business.
"We are negotiating with interested parties for various elements of the Ray Smith business and expect completed deals in the next week or so. This is in addition to the maintenance contract division that was sold before Christmas. We have also sold Garfield Hydrol Limited to Kerry Plant Hire, which has resulted in re-employing previous employees. Our agents have also received interest in the company's freehold property, which is also up for sale," he says.
