• The following conferences and seminars for 1987 have been arranged by the Chartered Institute of Transport. EJ February 26: `PDM-distribution to the High Streets and Supermarkets, is a seminar organised jointly between the CIT and the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology Transport Policy and Practice Workshop. The event starts at 2pm; further details can be obtained from UWIST's short course secretary on (0222) 42588. Li May 7-9: Freight and Distribution Conference and Exhibition at the Aviemore Centre in Scotland. The event is being sponsored by the Scottish section of the CIT.
