with specialist vehicles to help with reconstruction work at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
The trucks feature five-axle chassis to carry concrete pumping equipment — and five tonnes of lead radiation shielding for the cabs.
The conversions take the vehicles' GVW up to 48 tonnes. Cab access is via a small hatch; front and side viewing slits are protected by special lead glass. The concrete pumps have a reach of 52m, but can also be operated by remote control to a range of 800m.
