• Cheshire-based international haulier Fl W Services has been given further time to seek a licence in the South Eastern traffic area, by North Western Licensing Authority Roy Hutchings.
In May last year he adjourned a bid by H W Services (Containers), of Wilmslow, for five vehicles and trailers based at Holywell, North Wales. on the grounds that the operating centre was in the South East, because that was where the drivers were parking the vehicles when not in use. (CM May 10 1986), Company director W T Murray said that they had since commenced operation from the Dartford terminal, and an application for a licence in the South East was being handled for IIW by the Freight Transport Association.
