Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new range of refuse collection chassis has been introduced by Seddon Atkinson this month, replacing the old 201 range. Named the 2-11 Municipal range, it will include normal and narrow-track fourwheelers and a six-wheeler. All have more powerful engines, greater manoeuvrability and better interior trim.

The engines are from the Perkins Phaser six-litre range, with the four-wheelers getting the 114kW (153 hp) turbo charged Phaser 1601', and the six-wheelers getting the 129kW (173 hp) turbocharged and intercooled 180Ti unit. Gearboxes are unchanged from the 201, but drive mde ratios have been modified to suit the new engines.

The fitting of 'IF integral power steering and alterations to the steering linkage has reduced turning circles and provided more steering assistance at low engine speed.

After taking advice from its bodybuilders, Seddon has created additional space on the chassis by restyling the cab wings and moving the air cleaner underneath the cab. The company has also managed to lighten all models by around 25kg, compared to their predecessors.

The interior of the cab is based on the 2-11 haulage model, introduced in May last year. It includes improved cab access, better seats and instruments, and more storage space. Tinted glass all round and heated rear view mirrors complete the specification.

On the outside, rectangular headlamps, restyled indicators, with front wing repeaters and a three-piece bumper bar are the most noticeable changes. A different front grille design, which should aid daily checks, and an automatic cab lock-down mechanism are also included.
