AUSTIN MORRIS are contacting the owners of 129,000 Marina car and van models and 70,000 Sherpa vans in the UK to arrange for the replacement of possible defective components on each.

On a small number of Mk2 and Mk3 Marinas, produced up to early 1980, the sideheadlamp switch has been found to cause headlamp flicker.

A few high-mileage Sherpa vans are suffering from cracked steering drop arms, and prevent possible failure under heavy load conditions, such as during slow speed manoeuvres, Austin Morris are to replace the steering arm with a strengthened version.
