OPERATORS could benefit fro additional Government help f small firms in rural areas.
Local Government and Em ronmental Services EVIinist. Tom King last week announc( that the Council for Small Indul ries in Rural Areas will be able act as lenders of "last resor throughout rural areas.
In special investment area the Development Commissic together with local authoriti will be able to finance the pro, sions of workshops. Accordii to Mr King, both measures a being carried out within existii expenditure limits.
A Road Haulage Associatii spokesman this week welcom the move as one which he hop operators would be able to E plait, although he was uncerta about the extent to whi operators could benefit.
