'HE WEEKLY average rates if commercial vehicle ncluding chassis) producion by UK manufacturers for he whole of 1974 were less han during 1973 — 402,566 ehicles were manufactured ompared to 416,625 in 973, according to SMMT gures. However in December 1974, the weekly average of 40,195 vehicles was higher than the corresponding 1973 figure of 40,137.
In January this year, a total of 22,618 goods vehicle registrations were recorded in UK. This compares with 18,625 in January 1974.
