AN ATTACK on the GLC"s plans for a London lorry routeing network (see page 17) was made this week by Mr J. H. Whitcombe, chairman of the FTA's Greater London division. He said that the association was becoming increasingly apprehensive lest environmental con
siderations should overrid all other considerations an "alter the whole concept c our present methods c merchandising."
He warned that the FT, would have a lot more to sa on the subject: -We cannc fail to be alarmed at the wa things appear to be going."
