David Hodkin, 44, has been appointed group director, product reliability, of the Perkins Engines Group. He succeeds C. J. Hind, who is now director engineering. Mr. Hodkin was with Ford Motor Company from 1964 to 1968 as executive engineer. reliability, and then executive engineer, vehicle development.
