The report, out this week, comes as SMMT figures for the UK market show CV registrations fell to 27,067 last month, down 16.3% on November 1988. But registrations for the first 11 months of 1989 are still 5.1%. up on January-November 1988, at 353,273.

November last year). Leyland Daf is still in second place, but 3.1% down at 13,950.

Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and ERF continue in third, fourth and fifth places respectively. All have shown growth: Mercedes-Benz by 6.7%, Vol vo by 5.3% and ERF by 17.5% to 4,149. ERE also claims first place for top-weight tractor registrations in November with a 17.5% growth so far.

Renault's registrations for the year so far continued to fall, 9.3% this year. Scania increased 17.6% to 3,532; MAN was up slightly and Seddon Atkinson down.

In panel vans below 3.5 tonnes Ford still leads with 47.6% of registrations, compared with 9.7% for Leyland Dafs 200 and 400 series and 7.96% for Renault's Trafic and Master.
