• LONDON AND THE SOUTH EAST
MI London: Reduced widths on slip roads at Junction 5 (A41).
M1 Buckinghamshire: Various outside lane closures overnight near Junction 14 (Milton Keynes).
M27 Hampshire: Contraflow between Junctions 8 and 10 (Hedge End/Farnham).
M3 Hampshire: Offside lane closures for cabling work between Junctions 4 and 8 (Farnborough/A303).
M25 Kent: Various overnight lane closures for cats eye and white lining work between Junctions 2 and 5 (A2/ Sevenoaks).
M20 Kent: Contraflow between Junctions 11 and 12 (Hythe/Cheriton).
M20 Kent: Contraflow at Jucntion 8 (Hollingbourne).
M2 Kent: Contraflow between Junctions 5 and 6 (Sittingboume/Faversham). M25 Surrey: Overnight work with restrictions between Junctions 11 and 13 (Chertsey/ Staines) 21:00hrs to 05:00hrs. Al Bedfordshire: Lane restrictions near Biggleswade for lighting work.
A33 Hampshire: Improvement work continues between Compton and the M27. 50mph speed limit in force. Delays likely.
A2 Kent: South orbital roundabout (J2 M25), all slip roads reduced to one lane with temporary lights, due to improvement work.
A3 Surrey: Guildford Bypass at the junction with A31. Contraflow for construction of the A31 slip road.
• MIDLANDS AND EAST ANGLIA
M5 Hereford and Worcester: Major roadworks continue. Two lanes available northbound, but only one lane southbound between Junctions 4 and 4A (Bromsgrove/M42). Southbound entry slip at Junction 4 is open.
M6 West Midlands: Northbound exit closures overnight at Junction 10 (Walsall). M6 Staffordshire: No northbound entry or exit at Junction 12 (Gailey).
M5 West Midlands: Work continues at Junction 1 (West Bromwich) with no southbound access or northbound entry. A47 Birmingham: Major roadworks continue in the area of Saltley High Street. Birmingham City Middle Ring Road: At the A45 major work at the junction of A4540 Watery Lone/Sandy Lane, and the A45 Coventry Road. A38 Staffordshire/
Derbyshire Border: Contraflow on A38 at Dove Bridge (Eggington on Staffordshire/ Derbyshire border). Serious delays at peak times.
• NORTH
M56 Cheshire: Closed westbound between Junction 2 (A560) and Junction 5 (Manchester Airport) overnight 16th/17th December 8pm to 6am.
M63 Greater Manchester: Contraflow between Junctions 3 and 6 (Barton/A6144M). Various slip roads also closed. M180 Humberside: Contraflow between Junctions 2 and 3 (Al 61/M181).
MI South Yorkshire: Contraflow between Junctions 37 and 38 (A628/A637). Various slip road closures as well. Diversions operate.
M62 West Yorkshire: Lane closures both ways at Junction 26 (Chain Barr).
A51 Cheshire: Lane restnctions near Vicars Cross, Chester, A69 Cumbria: Work on the new Brampton bypass. Various road closures.
A56 Lancashire: Temporary traffic lights on Leeds Road, Nelson, between Pinder Street and St Philip's Church.
A69 Northumberland: Various restrictions east of Haltwhistle for improvement and maintenance work.
A6125 Tyne and Wear: Lane closures in Gosforth between the Broadway and Christon Road.
A646 West Yorkshire: Rekerbing and resurfacing at Todmorden between Hunters Lane and Rochdale Road.
• WALES AND THE' WEST M5 Devon: Contraflow between Junctions 30 and 31 (Exeter/A30).
A48M Gwent: Restrictions for street lighting at Castleton.
M4 Gwent: Various lane closures between Junctions 24 and 27 (Coldra/High Cross).
A4 Avon: Restrictions on both carriageways for barrier work on the Keynsham Bypass. A390 Cornwall: Temporary traffic lights for gas work at Liskeard.
A417 Gloucestershire: Daily contraflow at Town Ham Viaduct from 09:15hrs.
A485 Dyfed: Temporary traffic lights at Silian, north of Lampeter.
A40 Gwent: Maintenance work at the Monmouth Tunnels. Contraflow operates. A470 Gwynedd: Temporary traffic lights at Dolgyfeiliou, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Maentwrog.
SCOTLAND
M8 Lothian: Lane closures both ways between Junctions 3 and 4 (Livingston/East Whitburn). Eastbound entry slip road closed at Junction 3. M8 Strathclyde: No eastbound exit at Junction 13 (Provan) 07:00hrs to 18:00hrs.
A85 Tayside: Contraflow between Longforgan and Inchture with lane closures westbound near Glencarse. Al Lothian: Westbound lane closures in Edinburgh on Waterloo Place and A8 Princes Street.
A9 Highland: Single line traffic and restrictions at Dunbooth.
