new Band Three mobile radio unit, the Securicor JRC, which has the capacity for 99 users, compared with 40 on previous units.
The high-capacity system is aimed at large fleet users who have found 4-0-user systems too limiting.
Securicor says the JRC is available now; optional extras which will not be available until the new year include a bandsfree facility and an external alert which warns drivers of an incoming call when away from the vehicle.
