Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW hand pallet truck now availriL able from Omie Ltd., 300 Gray's Inn Road, London, W.C.1, is said to be cheaper in price and lighter in weight than any comparable equipment. Known as the Paliton Bantam, it can carry up to

1 ton and is available in 1 ft. 10 in. or 2 ft. 3 in. widths. The forks can be 3 ft., 3 ft. 6 in. or 4 ft. long.

The main frame of the truck is made from rolled steel channel incorporating a rigid neck against which the hydraulic unit operates. This unit is of a new design and the pump plunger operates horizontally in the valve plate, enabling an improved type of. handle with few linkages to be used. This is said to result in less wear and reduced maintenance.

Cast-iron rollers on the forks are fitted with two sealed ball races; Duthane tyres can be fitted as an optional extra. The front wheels are of cast iron, but rubbertyred or Duthane wheels can be supplied if required.

A truck measuring 1 ft. 10 in. wide with 3 ft. forks costs £82 10s., and the new model will be available at the end of December.
