Transport Ltd., of Ipswich, for a B variation to enable the company to acquire seven tippers and one trailer, was opposed on Tuesday by eight local hauliers, B.R.S. and British Railways.

Mr. Frank Jackson, a director of the applicant company, said that business had increased greatly over the past three years. The company had hired tipper trucks to Roadworks Ltd., an Ipswich civil engineering firm, but when additional vehicles were needed they were difficult to find.
