SIMMS MAKE INERTIA STARTER

AN inertia starter for use with oil engines has been introduced by Simms Motor Units. Ltd. It is known as the Simms-Instart manual inertia starter and is designed to be fitted in place of the electric starter motor of an engine. It is operated by cranking, and when its flywheel reaches a certain speed a bell rings, which is the signal to move the engagement lever, thereby rotating the engine crankshaft.
