THE DIGFOB portable device for reading digital tachograph driver cards has entered its second generation.
The device will now advise you of the next rest period due, as well as inform you of four other areas of potential infringement: daily driving, daily driving extensions, and weekly and fortnightly driving.
The cost of the Digifob has increased to £35.
The device is currently available from the Digifob website (www.digifob. corn), Tachodisc, and
the Freight Transport Association; from 1 October, Stoneridge will also be selling it throughout its European network.
