Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE LONG-AWAITED British Telecom maintenance van order has been placed with Frieigh Rover, which is to supply 2,500 petrolengined Sherpa 255 chassis-cabs between next month and March next vear.

The vehicles, which will have 1.7-litre engines, represent the first stage of Telecom's programme of replacing its panel van maintenance vehicles with chassis-cabs fitted with specially designed lightweight demountable bodies (CM, May 29).

The industry has been awaiting Telecom's order with interest, not least because Karrier had indicated that it might be prepared to assemble Renault Trafic vans at the Dodge plant at Dunstable, if it won part or whole of the order.
