IN RESPONSE to advice from manufacturers against painting the inside wheel face which bears on the axle hub Air Products Ltd, has been experimenting with Rustroy primer to neutralise and protect the metal surface.
This unorthodox use of Rustroy, manufactured by Wymark Technical Processes Ltd of Chel tenham, has helped prevent the build-up of rust.
The product is normally used as a pre-treatment before painting.
