Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DOWTY Seals has developed a new metal based gasket for use in environments up to 120°C and pressures up to 735kN/sqm (1068 psi).

The Dowprint Duo-Gasket is based on a silicone material stainless-steel substrate. Compression on the sealing material is nominally 25-35 per cent and is controlled by mechanical stops, which assist in containing fluid measure by acting as an anti-extrusion barrier.

A minimum torque is required to effect complete sealing.

This silicone-based gasket is suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic valves up to a maximum size of 150x150mm (5.9in) and is recommended for most mineral and water soluble oils, but not for non-flammable high temperature fluids.
