Latest Bosch Foglamp THE latest foglamp available from Bosch Ltd. is the Crusader, an enlarged version of the 5-in. diameter Slimline (NEB 130) lamp—with the beam spread increased to 1400 The Crusader's characteristics are sharp cut-off, constant light intensity across the beam (white or amber) and easy adjustment and fitting. "[he lamp has a brass housing, is chrom;umplated to B.S.S. 1224:59 and has an extra-tight lens seal. A matching driving lamp is available at the same price and a special version of the foglamp, with black housing, is available for commercial vehicles.

Electrical Chip Detector A DEVICE for electrically checking the presence of foreign PA matter in lubricating oil used in engine sumps, differential units, gearboxes and hydraulic circuits, has been developed by the Technical Development Company of Pennsylvania.
It will detect any ferrous or other harmful substances either by a test light, continuity tester, or by a fitted signal light. Also particles can he examined by withdrawing the detector magnet for visual scrutiny. As this magnet is removed, it automatically brings into action a spring-loaded value closing off the drain plug and preventing oil wastage. When oil needs to be changed an adaptor can be fitted which will override the sprung valve.
