BUT/100 protective coating for aluminium_ is being marketed by Swale Chemicals Ltd. BUT/100 is a one-coat butyrate resin protective spray coating for use on aluminiumbodied vehicles. No pre-treatment is required except degreasing and the coating is claimed to be non-yellowing and corrosionresistant. The new formulation has the advantage of being non-blushing, permitting application even in wet weather by unskilled labour.
Made by: Swale Chemicals Ltd., 848 Brighton Road, Purley, Surrey. forms the gap between the contacts. This overcomes the tendency of the particles to gather on the magnet without completing the circuit. Available in standard thread sizes of *in. U.N.F., f in U.N.F., 1 in. N.S. and 1* in. N.S. Other sizes are obtainable to order.
