The group stresses that there is a h:ghly developed system of inter-working between express carriers. A member of the group will accept corfsignments for delivery not only anywhere ,n Great Britain, but often to Continental arid other countries. Where necessary the traffic will be transferred to another member tor to a foreign operator) with a delivery network in the destination area. Inter-working helps to avoid overlapping of services and keeps the cost of operation low.
