ticable for round timber carriers to meet a requirement of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1964, the Minister of Transport is proposing to exempt such vehicles.

• The relevant provisions which are contained in Regulation 36(2) (a) require that vehicles fitted with front corner and side marker lamps shall have such lamps connected to an electrical supply forming an integral part of the motor vehicle and trailer.
