• The founder of vehicle hire and distribution business Dawsongroup is rated as Britain's richest truck personality in The Sunday Times listing of most wealthy people.
According to the newspaper, Peter Dawson, recorded as Britain's 114th joint richest person, owned 75% of the company shares, valued at £100m at the start of this year, after growing nearly threefold in 1993.
Alastair Salvesen, who at the start of the year owned 4.67% of distribution firm Christian Salvesen's shares worth £45.2m and his cousins who own another £42.5m, follow in joint 128th position.
Jack Barnard of the familyowned East Anglian warehouse and road haulage business reported in at 289th joint richest. The Sunday Times values the company at nearly £63m and the family's 68% stake at £43m.
Peter and Michael Kane who have 74.8% of the shares in Business Post came in at joint 289th.
In January the brothers stake was worth £41m and they had made £2m from 1993's flotation.
Waste disposal firm Biffa's Richard Biffa reached joint 303rd place alongside Interlink chairman and former motorbike dispatch rider, Richard Gabriel.
