SCOTTISH ROAD LINKS • Traffic surveys will be carried out in Borders, Central and Lothian Regions during April, as part of a study into road links between Edinburgh and the South.
The surveys will be carried out by Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick & Partners on behalf of the Scottish Development Department.
During the surveys, which will last from 07:00 to 19:00hrs, a sample of road us ers will be stopped and asked for the origin and destination of their journey. The results will be kept confidential and no details will be taken of vehicles or occupants.
