LIQUID POWDER and Gas Transport of Batley, West Yorkshire has recently taken delivery of a 34,250 litre (7,534ga1) five-compartment stainless-steel tanker complying with UK petroleum regulations, probably the first of its type to operate at 38 tonnes gvw.
It was built by the Dutch tank manufacturer Hobur, whose UK office is based at Purfleet in Essex. It is self supporting and has a tare weight of 6.4 tonnes, giving a potential payload of over 25 tonnes.
The tank is fitted with Burg K24 suspension.
