SUN ALLIANCE Insurance has widened the coverage of its commercial vehicle insurance cover, and has simplified the formalities involved.
Standard cover now extends to any damage caused to a third party's property, defence against a manslaughter charge, towing of disabled vehicles or trailers, and liability for damage caused by weight or vibration.
No claims discounts earned over three or four years will not be lost entirely after one or two claims.
To simplify procedures, a policyholder may now authorise accident repairs without waiting for an assessor, most types of commercial vehicle are now included in one policy, and an upto-date list of vehicles and cover will be included with each annual renewal notice.
