Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Charterhurst has introduced a range of new hose clips.

These hose clips, which are fitted as standard by Volvo and Saab, are available in chromated steel with a worm drive, in galvanized finish. The thread on the band is embossed outwards so that it raises towards the worm drive. This ensures that a free running action is obtained with a reduced risk of stripping.

The hose band is milled internally for a secure grip and the edge of the band is bevelled so that it does not cut into the hose.

The head of the screw is hexagonal and is cut for either spanner or screwdriver use, and is enclosed in a red enamel housing to reduce the risk of salt mist corrosion. The thread has a wide pitch, making for quick, easy fitting.

The clip is so designed that on being tightened, an equal peripheral pressure is obtained; it is produced In a wide range of sizes, from fin. to sin. (11mm to 17mm) to 5iin. to 6iin. (130mm to 165mm) and comes packaged in tens.
