Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

affect my 1960 Commer 7-ton horse box with vacuum servo hydraulic brakes and my 1960 Dodge tractive unit and low loader trailer? The trailer has no separate parking brake but the tractive unit has an emergency brake with operating lever in the cab.

AFrom the information you give the 1960

Comrner P82a 7-ton horse box will comply with both the interim and final Construction and Use Regulations on brakes. The 1960 Dodge 3143 tractive unit with vacuum hydraulic brakes will meet the interim efficiency but will need handbrake modification to meet the final requirements.

We understand that handbrake conversion parts will be in the hands of your local Rootes distributor within a few months. It is assumed that the vehicles are operated at their manufacturers' rated gross weights whilst the trailer will need a separate parking brake to meet the requirements.
