AI:1n automatic bus-washing machine, nounced by the 4-Minute Car Wash Co. Ltd., is claimed by the makers to wash all surfaces of a bus.

It requires no attendants as all operations are automatically controlled, the bus has only to be driven slowly through the machine. No stopping is necessary. The machine's though-put is 40 double-deckers per hour under adverse conditions, and 80 doubledeckers per hour, using side brushes only. Made by: 4-Minute Car Wash Co. A PNEUMATICALLY operated orbital sander introduced by the Aro Co., of High Wycombe, described in this feature on March 10, was priced at £53. The correct price is £35.

Bulk handling containers

DECENT Stakaway bulk-handling con tainers from IFM (Fabrications) Ltd., feature a top cone conforming to the angle of repose of a wide variety of granular materials.

Four sizes are available, capacities: 20, 25, 30 and 43.5 cu. ft. Suitable for materials such as corn, sugar, dried milk, fuller's earth, dry silica, phosphate rock, etc., the container's bottom is angled to ensure complete material discharge through a simple slide valve. Of mild steel construction, the containers are fitted with a weathertight lid and hollow sections facilitate loading by fork-lift truck.
