Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A BRITISH HoIset-Schwitzer turbocharger, produced by the 1"l-HoIset Engineering Co., Ltd., Huddersfield, Yorks, has been adopted by A.B. Scania-Vabis, Sodertalje. Sweden, for their new DS10 oil engine. The new unit produces 205 b.h.p. at 2,200 r.p.m., compared with 165 b.h.p. at the same governed speed for the normally aspirated version. The torque peak of 550 lb.-ft. occurs at 1,400 r.p.m., compared with the figure of 455 lb.-ft. at 1,200 r.p.m. which is recorded for the unblown design.

Up to 60,000 r.p.m.

The engine is based on the Scania-Vabis D10 six-cylindered direct-injection engine, the capacity of which is 10.26 litres. The Holset-Schwitzer blower is mounted directly on the exhaust manifold and operates at speeds of up to 60,000 r.p.m. The blower is lubricated from the engine lubrication system and is water cooled, using, of course. the same system as employed to cool the engine.
