A REPORT by a concern of manage ment and ecis accountants recommends that control of Pretoria's municipal bus system should be transferred from the city council to a' committee of five members. It is proposed that the number of buses should be reduced and that double-deckers should be replaced by single-deck oilers with only a.few seats but with space for. 100 passengers, mostly standing. AFTER 21 years as the wholly owned subsidiary of the Gulf Oil Corpora'Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Silvertown Lubricants, Ltd., Mint= Wharf, West Silvertown, London, E.16, is to take the name of Gulf Oil (Great Britain), Ltd.
