• Parcels delivery group Interlink, joining the Stock Exchange's junior Unlisted Securities Market next month (CM, Sept 6), is planning to open a parcels delivery service in Ireland.
The company hopes to build a service within the Republic which will later provide a base for developing two-way IrishUK traffic. As a start it has just opened a depot in Athlone.
lnterlink is due to reach the USM next month through an offer-for-sale sponsored by Laurence Prust on terms likely to value the business at more than 25 million.
