For those travelling, to Earls Court by private car the Metropolitan Police traffic department put out a reminder that during the Show there is a one-way system in operation in most of the roads surrounding Earls Court, and that parking facilities are limited. There is an underground station at Earls Court and Tube could prove to be the most suitable means of transport. The Earls Court station is on the Piccadilly and District lines and these can be joined from any line on the underground system which is easily accessible front main line stations.

Parking problem If a private car is used----and this is not advised---parking will prove a problem. While there is space for 1.000 cars at the exhibition hall, chances of obtaining space must be regarded as slim after 10.30 a.m. There are a felt. street car-parks but again only the earliest visitors can expect space. The LTB bus.ser vices, Nos. 30 and 74. are particularly suitable and can be joined at Kings Cross. Euston, Baker Street. Marble Arch. Hyde Park. Knightsbridge or South Kensington. The No. 31 passes Swiss Cottage, Kilburn Park Station. Westbourne Park Station and Notting Hill Gate.

Focal points close to Earls Court are Brompton Road. Cromwell Road. London Air Terminal and Kings Road. Chelsea. Routes to the Show are well sign-posted but west-bound commuter traffic is particularly heavy from 4.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
