AMONGST items of workshop equipment which have recently been introduced by Harvey Frost and Co., Ltd., Bishop's Stortford, Herts, is a bench clamp. By the use of this clamp, H.F. tube valve resealing units can be used independently of the electric tube and tyre vulcanizers made by the company. The trade price of this item of equipment is £1 17s. 6d.

Two new types of axle stand have also been introduced. One model used in pairs will support 8 tons. Its minimum height is 1ft. and can be extended to 1 ft. 7 ins. The other stand used in pairs supports 6 tons, has a minimum' height of 1 ft. 7 ins., and is extensible to 2 ft. 1 in.

A tyre-examining stand, which can be used for any size of tyre, is another new H.F. tool. This stand is portable, and its trade price is £2 10s. Lastly comes a self-locking towing attachment, which has a towing pin of steel 11 ins. in diameter.This pin is recessed where it engages with a locking bar. A handle fitted to the control bar and, when it is in the "up" position,i the pin can be inserted. When down," a flat on the control bar fits into a recess of the pin, thereby locking it.
